The five-person and ten-armed ensemble Hyssop plays "Songs About Healing" - songs about dealing with loss, injuries and crises. In partly concrete, partly abstract, partly absurd episodes, they provoke both pleasurable discomfort and meditative railings to linger. The German-Israeli-Swiss band celebrates the dimensions of improvisation and performance, nourished by their common and different languages, stories and cultural influences.
